Police Appeal for Information After Helston Robbery

Police in Helston are appealing for information following a robbery in the town. It happened at around 7.30pm on Tuesday 13th September outside the Betfred betting shop at the bottom of Meneage Street. The 20 year old male victim was approached by a group of three men. He was punched in the face and head and had his wallet stolen.

All three suspects are described as white men and aged between 18 and 20. One of them was approximately 5'7" in height with a thin build and dark hair. He was wearing Adidas jogging bottoms, Nike trainers and a thin dark jacket with reflective writing on it.

Another man is described as being 6' in height, stocky build with 'no neck', short dark hair and was also wearing Nike trainers and a dark Adidas jacket.

The third man was approximately 5' 10" in height, medium build and had dark hair with a quiff at the front. He also wore Nike trainers and had a Superdry jacket.

Following the assault all three men ran up Meneage Street towards The Bell.
