Valentines Day in Helston

If there is one thing Helston has a lot of (apart from Estate Agents) its Restaurants. With Valentine's Day around the corner and worries mounting about what romantic gesture to do for your other half, I suppose that's a good thing.

If you're looking to treat your loved one to a romantic meal and you're both fans of Indian food you could try one of three of Helston's Indian restaurants; India, Saffron or Anglo Asia. Or maybe you're more suited to Chinese? Helston's recently opened Bejing Cuisine is proving a firm favourite with the locals with rave reviews of great service and beautiful food.

Of course, already a favourite destination at anytime of the year thanks to their easy-on-the-wallet prices and the cosy interior is the Maytree, further from Helston town with plenty of parking it makes for a great evening out.

If you fancy venturing further out of Helston and trying something new, you might want to head to Wheal Dream. The restaurant, which has been there for some time, has recently been taken over by Barry and Naomi Clarke, who previously owned Clarke's in Falmouth, C3 in Helston and began their restauranteurs' careers at the Wheal Dream several years previously.

The menu and brand have both had a complete overhall, giving the business an extra touch of class.
