West Cornwall Summer Pool League Results - 23/06/12

Wins from Mike Torr, Anthony Williams, Mark Jenkin, Mark Thomas and Malcolm Fox helped Helston FC A to an 8-1 win over their B team last week in Division 1 of the West Cornwall Summer Pool League and they move into second spot with a game in hand. Leaders Lizard FC kept their unbeaten run going with a 6-3 win over Godolphin Club F while the Bell Inn moved into third spot with a 5-4 win over Godolphin Club B. The Killigrew Inn edged out Constantine SC A 5-4.

Mullion FC had the biggest win in Division 2 with an 8-1 win over Godolphin Club A thanks to singles wins from Chris Spurrier, Chris Rosevear, Rob Tuckwell, Rob Willey and Scott Patterson. Godolphin Club D won five out of their six singles in a 6-3 win over Helston RFC and are still in top spot while Helston RBL D edged out their E side 5-4. Rileys A also managed a 5-4 over Red Lion A while the Rodney Inn A team defeated Rosudgeon SC by the same score.

Tim Oliver, Jon Debnam, Fred Rugg and Jon Filmer all won for the Lion & Lamb in their 6-3 win over Rileys B in Division 3 and they have moved to the top of the division. The Queens Arms travelled to Rileys C and won 5-4 while Red Lion B defeated Seven Stars A by the same score. Rodney Inn B also won by the odd frame against Seven Stars B.
