West Cornwall Summer Pool League Results - 26/08/12

Wins from Peter Williams, Jason Grigor and Andy Bright helped Godolphin Club F to a 5-4 win over Division 1 leaders Lizard FC in the West Cornwall Summer Pool  League last week. Helston FC A had a 6-3 win over their B team to narrow the gap at the top to two points while the Killigrew Inn gained a 6-3 victory over Constantine SC A. The Bell Inn had a narrow 5-4 win over Godolphin Club B.

In Division 2 Helston RBL E put a small dent in Helston RBL D team's chances of gaining promotion, defeating them 5-4 with singles wins coming from Trev Conroy, Daisy Adam and Mark Thompson. Godolphin Club D went 4-0 up against Helston RFC who won the next four games to level up. Godolphin won the last doubles to gain victory though. Rosudgeon SC won 5-4 against the Rodney and Rileys A defeated Red Lion A by the same score. Mullion FC continued their promotion challenge with a 7-2 win over Godolphin Club A.

In Division 3 the Queens Arms had a big 8-1 win against Rileys C and Seven Stars A won by the same score against Red Lion B thanks to wins from Indian Joe, Matt, Tony, Darren, Tappy and Neil. The Lion & Lamb had a 6-3 win over Rileys B and the Rodney edged a 5-4 win over Seven Stars B.
