Large Cannabis Haul in Helston

A man’s been arrested after police seized over £300,000 worth of cannabis in Helston.

The 48 year old man was stopped by a police Road Crime Unit while driving along the A394 near Helston at around 10pm last night. While searching the Audi officers found what’s suspected to be a large amount of controlled drugs, estimated to be around ten to twelve kilos.
A further search of the man’s house uncovered around 300 cannabis plants. The total haul is thought to have a combined street value of over £300,000.
The man’s now in custody at Camborne Police Station and will be interviewed later.
