New "in car game for the kids" (well parents can help as well) lol
Have you spotted the drivers that even in brilliant sunshine have their HEADLIGHTS on? Volvo drivers have an excuse theirs come on automatic because in Sweden it is pretty dark lol
But those that love the environment should really consider turning them off, as the probably dont realise their vehicle is using up about 2mpg of fuel just to power the lights, and if they put on the air con as well it could be up as far as 5 yes 5 mpg more in fuel, it is weird because if you asked the same drivers to put their lights on in our regional mist/fog they wont be on.
So come on kids see how many you can spot at the weekend lol mum and dads dont let them count Volvos.
p.s. on my trip to Penzance this morning i spotted 12 yes 12

hmmm I am guilty of the same thing. My peugoet turns its lights on automatically and this week I did notice I was driving round in broad daylight with them on. I've no idea how to turn them off again when this happens (although I'm sure it's simple when you know how). Maybe don't count volvos and peugoets with drivers who don't kow how to change the setting?!

I honestly didn't realise that lights effected fuel consumption like that
