We’re a nation of animal lovers and Helston is no exception. Walk around town and you’ll see a wide variety of pampered pooches, while our homes and gardens are also occupied by cats, rabbits, hamsters and other feathered or four-legged friends. It’s no surprise then to find that Helston has a number of businesses dedicated to the well-being of our pets.

Helston is lucky enough to have two excellent vets; Head and Head and Rosemullion. Both offer a fantastic service and do their best to make sure your pet stays fit and healthy.

We’ve also now got four pet shops, two of which have opened within the last couple of months. Pets Pantry in Coinage Ope is still going strong after many years in business, then there is Hog House Animal Feed on Water-ma-Trout as well as new additions Pet Crazy in Meneage Street and Helston Pet Supplies in Wendron Street. All are excellent shops selling everything from collars to cages, tasty treats to toys. Food delivery can also be arranged should you need it.

Slightly bigger than a pet shop, Cornwall Farmers also stocks a range of pet products from food to bowls and beds. They have different offers on each month so it’s worth keeping an eye out for some bargains.
